Neil Sinden

Executive Chairman

Neil became Managing Director of Classic Funding Group in 2013 on the merger of The Leasing Centre and GPAC Finance. In 2015 he relinquished the role of Managing Director but remains Chairman of the company.

In 2009, Neil led a management buy-out of GMAC-RFC’s Australian business, which became GPAC Australia, the largest shareholder in Classic Funding Group.

Neil's experience in finance spans consumer lending, capital markets, investment banking and property investment management. Prior to establishing GPAC, Neil was the Managing Director of GMAC-RFC in Australia, having relocated from the UK in 2005 to establish a residential lending business. At the time, GMAC-RFC was one of the largest mortgage lenders in the world and Neil had been a Managing Director of the UK and European businesses having joined the company in 1998.

Previous experience includes investment banking with Baring Brothers (UK) and property investment with Prudential (UK).

 

Paul Rathbone

Chief Executive Officer

Paul became Chief Operating Officer of Classic Funding Group in 2013 on the merger of The Leasing Centre with GPAC Finance, and in 2015 moved into the role of Chief Executive Officer.

After graduating from the Camborne School of Mines in England, Paul worked for De Beers Consolidated Mines and Anglo American in South Africa for ten years. In 1999, Paul joined RentWorks, an Australian owned leasing business, in Johannesburg as Chief Operating Officer. Following two years in Johannesburg, Paul moved to Australia to work for the parent company as the Group Operations and Risk Manager and was appointed to CEO of RentWorks in Australia in 2004.

RentWorks was acquired by Alleasing in 2005 and Paul was a key member of the management team that participated in a management buyout in 2007. Paul left Alleasing in 2011 to join GPAC Finance, at that time he was the Chief Risk Officer of the Alleasing Group with responsibility for the operations, cash managements, credit risk and residual risk functions, managing an asset portfolio in excess of $1.1 billion.

David Thorn

Chief Operating Officer

David joined Classic Funding Group in 2013 in the role of Head of Operations, and in 2015 became the Chief Operating Officer.

With over 25 years of experience in the finance sector, including ten years management experience, David develops internal policies and processes to ensure company operations are streamlined and achieve desired results. 

 

Andrew Greenslade

Chief Financial Officer

Andrew became Chief Financial Officer of Classic Funding Group in 2013 on the merger of The Leasing Centre with GPAC Finance.

Andrew was part of the management buyout of GMAC-RFC Australia, which he joined in 2006 as Capital Markets Director and a member of the executive team. He was responsible for the establishment and management of the mortgage funding platform and treasury function.

Prior to GMAC, Andrew was Head of Debt Markets at Perpetual Corporate Trust, responsible for $150 billion of securitisation and other structured finance transactions, including business development, risk management and profit centre responsibility. Prior to Perpetual, Andrew spent seven years in capital and financial risk management and securitisation at AMP Treasury and prior to that, five years in London in various finance and banking roles. His career began as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse in New Zealand.

 

Daniel Moses

Director

Daniel joined The Leasing Centre in 1994 and became a Director in 1999. Daniel managed the development of The Leasing Centre into one of Australia’s most respected independent equipment finance companies. Initially starting in Sales and Marketing, Daniel has been responsible for establishing a number of innovative funding structures which ensured The Leasing Centre’s growth and ability to meet its clients’ needs through the testing market conditions of the last five years. Daniel continues to ensure that Classic Funding Group is at the forefront of the commercial finance industry.
