Sydney2Camberra Ride 2017
The Classic team, led by Ryan Mitchell, are delighted to once again be involved in this fantastic event!
Classic Funding Group have been proudly involved with the Sydney2CAMberra charity since 2015, helping to raise funds for Red Nose Australia and The Stillbirth Foundation.
The key event for the charity is the Annual Sydney 2 CAMberra Ride, a grueling 200km event starting at Wests leagues Club Leumeah and finishing in the nation's capital, Canberra.
Our own Ryan Mitchell has been squad team captain each year since 2012, helping to raise over $850,000 for research and support services for families affected by SIDS and stillbirth.
In 2017, the Sydney2CAMberra ride is on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th of April.
How You Can Be Involved
Every dollar counts, so whether you have a corporate charity budget or can donate personally, please donate!
If you have spare time and an eagerness to make a difference, register your interest to volunteer
If you are one of the supernaturals, and are able to ride the distance, register your interest in taking part in the ride!
The Sydney 2 CAMberra Charity Ride was created after a young Sydney couple lost their son Cameron through stillbirth. The tragic event heavily impacted their life and touched many of their family members and friends, here is their story.
In recognition of Cameron, the Ride aims to raise significant funds, awareness and support of families affected by stillbirth and SIDS. All funds raised are donated to the Stillbirth Foundation Australia and Red Nose Australia on behalf of the Sydney 2 CAMberra participants, supporters and volunteers.
Personal Message from Ryan Mitchell
It is that time of year again when I ask for your kind donation to help this great charity. This is the six year of the ride and over the past five we have raised over $850,000. This year is looking bigger and better than ever and we are hoping to raise over $300,000 from this year’s ride. To do that I need your help.
I am very lucky to have two healthy and happy kids. I could not imagine a life without them. Everyday 6 families in Australia experience the devastation of stillbirth.
Through my involvement with the charity I have met many families affected by SIDS and stillbirth, and they unanimously stress that without the great work of Red Nose Australia and The Stillbirth Foundation, they don’t know how they would have recovered from such emotional trauma.
I hope and believe that with the money raised from Sydney 2 CAMberra that we can continue to provide these vital services and reduce the number of these devastating incidents.
Please donate to this great cause!
Thank you, Ryan Mitchell
